FounderJacob is on voice faculty at NYU Tisch School of the Arts New Studio on Broadway. He’s taught over 10,000 voice lessons, music directed 50 + shows, and worked as a Teaching Artist at every level of educational theate! He has been a Vocal Director for Celebrity Cruise Lines and had faculty positions at Sam Houston State University and The New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts. He is a proud graduate of the Esper Studio where he studied acting with Bill Esper. He is a Suzuki trained classical pianist & lover of the Alexander Technique. Program Director
Jen is so thrilled to share all she learned from the college audition process. An organizational queen and a lover of strategy, she understands that the process is a bit of a game and some straightforward decisions and strategies can set you up for success. Having been accepted to 23 out of 24 BFA programs she auditioned for, she has unique insight into the college audition process. After graduating from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts in 2021 (where she met & trained with Jacob Thomas Carr) she has been living, auditioning and working in NYC along with her husband Will and two cats.

Voice Teacher
Jess Hill is a NY-based multi-hyphenate artist. She recently graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama. She spent her first two years of college at the New Studio on Broadway studying musical theatre, and most recently studied with the Film & TV residency program, Stonestreet Studios. She loves to produce, with recent credits at the Green Room 42 and 54 Below. She is the HOWL voice method studio administrator, and currently training as a certified HOWL voice teacher under Jacob Thomas Carr.

Acting Coach
Will Sutton is honored to be coaching Shakespeare and monologues with HOWL! Much like you may be, he was the first in his community to move to NYC to pursue acting, and understands how challenging that can be. He graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2020 and is thrilled to share what he’s learned from some of the best teachers in the industry with you. You’ll find his insights valuable and his jokes a reminder that Shakespeare isn’t intimidating but is fun.

Nick Moulton (He/Him)
Tech/Creative Director
Nick is an actor/musician based in NYC. Self described as “a Renaissance man with a performer’s skills” he has done everything from music production to video editing. He is wiling to learn any instrument he can get his hands on, with a background as a drummer and guitarist. National Tours include Beautiful: The Carole King Musical & Pan 360. Regional credit include: Grease, Jersey Boys, The Music of Harry Chapin & Jim Croce all at Casa Mañana. He is rep’d by Hudson Artsts Agency and a member of AEA.

Sarah 陳永懿 Chen (she/her)
Accompanist
Sarah is based in NYC, has as AMD/pit musician worked on Rent (NYU Tisch Drama Mainstage), Bright Star (NYU Tisch New Studio on Broadway), Nine (NYU Tisch NSB), and Spamalot in the local youth theatre community that raised her, where she also vocal directed Matilda, Jr. Sarah is currently pursuing a BFA in musical theatre at NYU Tisch.

Abigail Ellen Graham (They/Them)
Musical Theater Dance Instructor
Abigail Graham (they/them) has been traveling the country for the last three years as a professional dancer, choreographer, and musical theatre performer. Some of their favorite roles include Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Show, David Bowie in We Will Rock You, and Lisa in Mamma Mia!. However, they are over the moon to finally be back in the NYC dance scene (as well as binge watching RuPaul's Drag Race) from their favorite place on earth, Brooklyn NY. With over 10 years of experience in teaching and performing, Abigail is thrilled to be working with the incredible HOWL College Auditiot team as a choreographer and instructor!

Ashitaka Porter (He/Him)
Hop-Hop Dance Instructor
Ashitaka Porter is a choreographer and performer, and a recent graduate from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama. His journey into the world of dance began with a passion for movement and expression, which he further explored through the Professional Semester Program at Broadway Dance Center in Fall 2023. Ashitaka is currently signed with United Talent Agency and is looking forward sharing his gifts with the next generation of artists.

Annie Thomas (She/Her)
Ballet Instructor
Annie Thomas, class of 2025, is currently a junior (early grad) at NYU studying acting in the Strasberg Studio. She has recently been a dance TA for the New Studio on Broadway at NYU. She is from Atlanta Georgia and has been performing for 16 years!
